Our fair chance hiring model makes sure that hardworking people in our community get a fair chance to earn a good living.

Our guarantee that everyone on our team earns at least $15/hour has never wavered – and we hope we will be able to increase that number soon. (Psst… did you know that the minimum wage for tipped workers in PA is $2.83/hour?)

Because we have a social mission, we get a lot of requests for donations — sometimes many in a single day! But, also because we have a social mission, our costs are a lot higher than many of our friends in the beer industry, so it’s harder for us to donate as much as we’d like.

As of 2024, we’ve committed to this donation policy:

We are only able to consider financial or beer donations to organizations that are mission-aligned — meaning they are committed to advancing racial or economic justice in Philadelphia.

We are happy to support any nonprofit with discounted event space, whenever we can.
